Why didn't I do this one first?
Here's the simple bouncing ball test. It's the most basic animation cycle that teaches all the main tricks like timing, spacing, squash and stretch... just your basic animation tools. The drawings themselves are unimpressive by themselves; they're just circles and ovals. The idea is that when the ball is at the height of the bounce, it retains it's normal shape. But when the ball gets closer to the ground it stretches out and flattens on the ground. On the way back up it starts to return to it's normal shape. I didn't really like the way it turned out though.
So I redid it, so that you could so you could see more of the bounce. Really, there's not too much to say about this one. There aren't any bad drawings, but how can you screw up circles and ovals. Really, if you're wanting to get into animation, this is where you should start.
Again, the drawings themselves aren't really impressive, but they get the job done.
