The Final Judgement of Baghead
It's amazing how long it took me to get this comic down. I actually had a vague idea for this story since I was about 5 or 6 years old, but never got down to drawing it. So when the time came in my comic book class at college (yes, that was a real class), I figured it was finally time to get this idea down. It's also interesting that it took me this long to do a story centered around Harold the Paper Bag Kid, even though he's my strongest character. This is also the first long comic I've done since I finished my animated video which I worked on with a friend and finished a few months ago. The video took about 14 months to make, whereas this comic took about 4 weeks.

Bubs 2012
I’ve had the idea of doing a comic about 2012 since 2009,
but I only started working on it since April this year. Before I started
writing the story, I did some research about different theories about the Mayan
prophesies (I wasn’t concerned with accuracy, I used Wikipedia as a source for
God’s sake). This comic had more planning than any other cartoon I’ve worked
on, with many notes taken on different parts of the story. The plot is mostly a retrospective of the
year 2012 and focuses more on the characters, so the question of whether the
world would end or not, is left open-ended until the end of the story. I
included every character I’ve created up to this point, though some of them
were stuck to bit parts. The drawings are a major improvement over my previous
work, as I worked to not only amp up the character drawings, but also worked
more with the backgrounds and the overall color. This is the biggest comic power point I've made to date, wiht over 50 slides and more than 350 drawings. To me, this cartoon has been a
long time coming, and I hope you enjoy it.
